Well I'm sure you went in expecting that. It's an affordable sports car, so all the douches will flock in to look cool and be cheap.

I've only met ST owners at AutoX events and they're just fantastic people to talk to. Forums are all nice too.

Hey guys Indiana local checking in.. The 2JZ 240 in the video has been around awhile and has gotten insane over the last couple of years. I think they narrowed the rear and did all of the rear suspension work last winter (or one prior.)

I'm not friends with the owner but have been around him quite a few times. He seems like a pretty nice guy and will bullshit with anyone who wants to talk cars..

Seen it on the street a few times too... CAR GETS DOWN! There are a couple of track vids on youtube from a few years back and I think its in low 10's or something.

You can gear power into whatever torque you need; a lack of torque just means you need higher revs than you'd like. All the torque in the world won't make you go faster if you're lacking power, as it's the rate of work (acceleration) you can do.

Yea he runs around on the Southside of Indy most weekends.. Take a stroll through O'Reilly Auto Parts on U.S. 31 just south of downtown Indy on a Saturday night (after 10:00) and you will usually see it out. His friends have pretty impressive cars too. A couple 1000+hp Supras, boosted Viper, Built C6, built 427 C5 FRC (on craigslist fs now actually,) and probably the most known of the bunch is a black 99-00 Civic with a boosted K20.. There are a ton of videos of it on youtube.
There is a really popular video of it when it was down in Texas @ TK13, Google "Gabe's Civic" or "Gabe's boosted K20 Civic" and check it out. They are all pretty hardcore. Wow this post got long lol.
